The real reason there aren't any statues of the Asters anymore is because I smashed them with a sledgehammer and dumped them in the nearest Starwall aqueduct before anyone could make me draw them (don't tell Mina lol)

Ahh... backgrounds, why you so tough...

Is it like a multiworship temple then?

It’s not a multiworship temple (as the only entities worshipped in FD2R are the collective Asters), but the temple has multiple institutions branching out of it. Some of these include the Mage Academy as well as the Starwall Embassy. The Main Temple is where the High Priest of Starwall (also the governing head of the capital) stays.

The whole territory of Starwall serves as neutral ground where the rulers and/or ambassadors can meet and discuss things peacefully. But all must visit the temple first before business can proceed.

Love the backgrounds!

Regarding the text though, I only have one thing to say...

Ooooh. Nice backgrounds, Cici. XD

*is jealous*

And a Temple of Asters that worships Asters, but removed the statues for those people that don't!?

Wouldn't that be like a Catholic church without any signs of the cross for those that aren't Catholics or something?

Thank youuu huhuhu ~

Technically no. The 8 point star is more the equivalent of the cross in FD2R (which is still prevalent in the temple). The statues are closer to having idols of the saints. Also note that the Asters are our constellations IRL, so that means they used to have 88 large statues in a single room.

They still have imagery of the Asters in the form of stained glass, just the statues were removed.

I seriously love the idea that you had to makeup a story just to have a reason not to add statues to the background. Great job

Nice background :3

Also, I think this guy is also hiding the real reason to had the Asters' statues removed...

Of course it's because it must be a pain to clean then XD

I mean I don’t blame him, that was 88 human-sized white marble statues to scrub down ever day. That’s not including all the stained glass and hallways and all other places in the temple.

MST3KFan phrased very well what were my thoughts too!
So, perhaps this temple has a second function besides just being a house of religious worship (e.g. something more administrative, since what your legal name is seems to be connected to the Asters), so that non-believers too have to enter it on a regular basis??
